Oualie is also the location of Nevis Scuba – the island’s only dive operation; Winston Crooke’s Nevis Water sports, for windsurfing, Hobie catamaran hire, kayak tours and hire; Wheel World – the mountain bike hire and tour place; deep sea fishing boats, yacht and catamaran trips. There is horseback riding nearby and the Four Seasons Hotel has a golf course.
Within a few minutes walk are the bar and restaurant of the Oualie Beach Resort Hotel. Several other restaurants can be reached in less than ten minutes by car. One shop for food and other household items is within five minutes by car and in Charlestown, which is only fifteen minutes away, are supermarkets, mini markets, an open market and more restaurants.
